In 2011, Arizona will be the focus of the Southern Baptist Convention’s Crossover event.

What is Crossover?

Every year, just prior to the SBC’s annual meeting, Crossover events occur in the Convention’s host city.  Crossover is a series of evangelistic events such as block parties, door-to-door visits, and additional innovative evangelistic efforts. This is our opportunity to join with the entire Southern Baptist family in reaching our community for Christ.

When is Crossover?

Crossover Arizona will be June 6-11, 2011.  The SBC will be held in Phoenix June 14-15, 2011.

How can I get involved?

We are working with local churches to develop ministry teams.  Ask your church leadership what they are doing to participate.  You are also more than welcome to attend one of our training events.

What can I do during Crossover?

We train! Beginning in the fall, we are hosting training seminars to help you participate in the many  outreach events and community ministry in several areas of Tucson during Crossover.

The 2010 Arizona Church Equipping Conference will provide training, encouragement and inspiration to help you grow as a spiritually qualified laborer.

Arizona Church Equipping Conference is an extensive training seminar sponsored by the Arizona Southern Baptist Convention. In addition to a half-day pastor’s conference, ACE offers training for leaders in worship/music, women’s ministry, small groups, Sunday School, student leadership, discipleship, evangelism, church planters, and media/library. Age-graded breakout electives are offered for preschool, children, youth, and adult leaders. The 2010 ACE Conference will be held at:
