THE EMPTY EGG - A FAITH-BASED EGG HUNT
CBA wants to share with you an egg-citing opportunity to share the Gospel in a meaningful and engaging way by attending The Empty Egg Easter Event at the Church at Tubac.
Here is how it works: The Empty Egg is a faith-based, interactive/immersive Easter experience designed to take families on a journey through the story of Jesus—from His triumphant entry to the empty tomb. Along the way, families will collect 12 eggs, each containing a piece of the Easter story, the last one being the empty egg for the empty tomb. Then kids can go on a traditional egg hunt to get a bag of treats to take home and do other activities like the inflatable obstacle course while at the same time allowing us to engage with people to see if they are part of a local church family. This event is designed not only to provide a unique interactive event but to keep the focus on the true meaning of Easter—the resurrection of Christ. We believe this approach to Easter outreach could be a valuable tool for other churches looking for creative ways to engage their communities with the Gospel. That’s why we want to invite anyone from other churches who are interested to attend and see firsthand how it works, ask questions, and consider how an event like this might work in their community. For questions about the event, you can contact Tatum Wallace at 520.343.8198 or email jwallace@chuchattubac.com.
